Nicholas Penn's practice involves a wide range of transactional matters for corporate, nonprofit, and government clients. He has particularly deep experience with municipal entities and public utilities.
Nicholas' work has included the disposition of federal government assets (through bulk and individual sales, structured sales, and securitizations), as well as municipal bond issuances, corporate acquisitions, and sales. He also provides day-to-day counsel to a variety of corporate and nonprofit clients, advising on corporate organization and management structure, as well as preparation of articles of incorporation, corporate bylaws, and government filings.
In addition, Nicholas' practice includes administrative law and regulatory matters as an advisor to regulated public utilities appearing before the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia.
