Catharine Arrowood Elected to TerraLex Board of Directors

Raleigh, NC – Catharine Biggs Arrowood, Partner in Parker Poe’s Raleigh office, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for TerraLex, one of the world’s leading international legal networks with more than 155 independent law firms and more than 19,000 attorneys in 100 countries. TerraLex members provide legal resources and expertise to seamlessly manage legal issues for clients worldwide.

Catharine litigates and arbitrates for both large and small businesses. Ms. Arrowood has been recognized by Chambers USA as a Band 1 practitioner in Litigation: General Commercial, the first woman to achieve this ranking in North Carolina. Clients interviewed by Chambers stated that when in court she "knows the facts, the strengths and weaknesses of both sides, and handles the case in the most effective manner for our needs." 

Ms. Arrowood also serves as an arbitrator and is a member of the Panel of Neutrals for the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR).  She previously served as co-chair of TerraLex’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
