Charleston, S.C. – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Bobby Byrd was selected by his peers in Charleston as the top attorney in his practice area. The voting was part of the process in determining Charleston Business Magazine’s 2018 “Legal Elite of the Lowcountry.”

Legal Elite gives every attorney who lives and works in the Charleston area the chance to participate, and attorneys are not allowed to vote for themselves. The winners are drawn from a pool of peer-nominated candidates and regarded as among the best in their fields.

Bobby Byrd was named Legal Elite for the second straight year. This year, Bobby was recognized in the field of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He has more than three decades of experience representing national and community banks, commercial finance companies, special servicers, and other lending institutions in connection with non-performing loans. His experience includes judicial foreclosures, actions to collect promissory notes, guaranty suits, bankruptcy proceedings, and claim and delivery (replevin) actions, in addition to defending entities against lender liability claims.
