Jamie Schwedler was quoted in the Triangle Business Journal on what is driving a surge in rezoning requests in Raleigh. 

Jamie pointed out the city's profile has risen in recent years as the Urban Land Institute and other national organizations have ranked the Raleigh area as a top market for real estate investment and quality of life. That combined with its rapidly growing population makes developers continue to want to build in the city. She also said that working through zoning is a way to make progress on a project without having to deal with construction obstacles tied to the coronavirus pandemic.
