Parker Poe alumni of Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law hosted a luncheon in honor of Dean Rich Leonard to celebrate his 10 years as Dean of the law school. During his 10 years as Dean, Leonard has championed a decade of growth and accelerated Campbell’s brand as a top law school not just in North Carolina but also nationally. He began his tenure shortly after the law school relocated from the main campus in Buies Creek to downtown Raleigh and quickly went to work making sure that the new state-of-the-art facilities and proximity to the courts and other legal resources in the state Capitol were integrated into the Campbell Law student experience.

Over the last 10 years, the school has seen unprecedented growth requiring additional space, professors, and programming. Dean Leonard has also extended resources from Campbell back to the community through his advocacy and championing for multiple pro bono outreach programs, the most recent being the opening of the Gailor Family Law Center, the law school’s sixth clinic. In his 10 years leading the law school, Dean Leonard has done a remarkable job of ensuring Campbell lawyers are not only taught the law but afforded real-life opportunities to practice skills learned in the classroom. Campbell alumni at Parker Poe congratulate Dean Leonard on 10 years of success and growth.
