Melanie Black Dubis, a Partner in the Raleigh office of Parker Poe, was featured as the News & Observer's Tar Heel of the Week for her long-time work on the Leandro case. Earlier this month, Ms. Dubis argued before the state Supreme Court to uphold a 2012 decision allowing access to Pre-K programming for at-risk youth in NC.
