Daria Brown focuses her practice on employment and labor law, advising employers on navigating workplace challenges and defending them in litigation, including against claims of discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour non-compliance, and other complex employment issues.
Before joining Parker Poe, Daria gained valuable experience at a Winston-Salem law firm, where she assisted with legal analysis on professional licensing, estate planning, contract disputes, and evidentiary issues. She also previously interned with a Georgia law firm, drafting motions across criminal, civil, and family law proceedings.
Daria earned her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review and participated in moot court, competing at both regional and national levels. As part of Wake Forest’s Appellate Advocacy Clinic, she drafted and filed a brief at the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She holds her bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University, where she served as president of the Mock Trial Team.
