Jon focuses his practice on professional negligence and product liability defense. His practice areas include personal injury, construction, bad faith, and insurance coverage.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Jon was a litigation associate at an insurance firm where he litigated insurance defense cases through all phases, from initial case report to settlement or trial.
Previously, Jon served as a legal extern with the U.S. Department of Justice: Organized Crime and Gang Section, where he assisted and advised on criminal investigations and prosecutions. He also served as a legal extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of N.C.
Jon received his law degree from Wake Forest University where he was a member of the National Trial Team and President of the American Constitution Society. During law school, he was also an editorial staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review.
