Robb approaches each legal issue with an understanding of the business and clinical issues his clients face. Robb's clients range from large national healthcare providers to single-location providers. He has significant experience representing a variety of healthcare providers that include hospitals, home health, home care and hospice agencies, community mental health providers, adult care homes, psychiatric hospitals, physician practices, nursing homes, and dentists. He also has significant experience providing advice to healthcare industry groups and trade associations.
By focusing on regulatory compliance issues before there is a problem, Robb strives to have his clients avoid missteps and government investigations. When litigation is required, Robb draws on years of relevant healthcare and administrative law experience to advocate for his clients. He has successfully represented healthcare providers and healthcare industry groups before the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) in cases including Medicaid rate cuts, Medicaid audits, licensure terminations, Managed Care Organization (MCO) actions and CON decisions. He has also represented his clients in state and federal court in cases involving class actions, judicial review of administrative decisions, CON appeals, complex business disputes between healthcare providers, and challenges to federal and state laws and regulations.
Robb is a leader in the state's healthcare legal community. He has served as president and on the board of directors of the North Carolina Society of Health Care Attorneys. He was also selected to participate as a member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Leadership Raleigh class of 2014-2015. When Robb is not focused on law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, reading history, painting, and fiction writing. He also especially enjoys following the football team at Duke, where he was a varsity letterman during his undergraduate education.
