The list “celebrates the diversity of female leaders, policy makers and visionaries who have spent their careers changing Georgia’s landscape for the better,” according to the magazine.
Ellen is a leader at Parker Poe, in Atlanta’s real estate industry, and in the broader community. At Parker Poe, she serves as the Atlanta Office Relationship Partner. She has 20 years of experience helping clients close real estate transactions, navigate land use and zoning, and resolve disputes. Her clients include Fortune 500 corporations, commercial real estate developers, telecommunications companies, and residential care facilities.
Ellen is the president-elect of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Atlanta. She has previously served on its board of directors and held several leadership roles, including treasurer, co-chair of its Finance and Governance Committee, and as a delegate to the global CREW Network. Along with a team of others, she received the 2016 CREW Network Economic and Community Improvement Award in connection with the Mercedes-Benz USA North American headquarters relocation to Sandy Springs, Georgia. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of Georgia’s Real Property Law Section.
In addition, Ellen is on the board of directors for The Atlanta Women's Foundation along with other leaders from a wide range of industries across the city. The foundation has invested more than $17 million in nonprofits that have successfully moved women and girls from poverty to economic self-sufficiency. Ellen also serves on the Georgia Wireless Association’s board, as well as the Executive Committee for the Council for Quality Growth and Select Cobb.
