Joe Whalley focuses his practice on commercial real estate finance, advising clients on a range of properties that include hotels, retail, office buildings, multifamily complexes, and self-storage facilities.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Joe was an associate for an international law firm. He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University, where he served as vice president of the Student Bar Association and as an articles editor for the Journal of Business & Intellectual Property Law. Joe received his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and served as vice president of its club cycling program.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys cycling, running, and watching the Premier League, golf, and college sports.
