Kim concentrates her practice on employment litigation in state and federal courts, including employment discrimination and harassment, wrongful discharge, and the enforcement of noncompete agreements. She also represents employers before federal and state administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Departments of Labor, and the North Carolina Industrial Commission. In addition to her litigation practice, she counsels employers about employment agreements, handbooks and policies, and compliance with federal and state employment laws. She is also a frequent lecturer on employment law and workers' compensation.
While earning her law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law, Kim was a member of the Moot Court Board and won the prestigious Edwin M. Stanley Moot Court Competition.
Kim was selected by the National Association for Female Executives to be on the cover of, and be quoted in, its fall 2011 magazine recognizing the top 50 law firms for women.
