Matthew Carpenter focuses his practice on land use and commercial real estate.
Matthew represents and advises developers throughout the life cycle of a development project, from the initial planning and zoning stage through property acquisition and the issuance of building permits. He represents clients before local governing boards, planning boards, and boards of adjustment to obtain rezonings, variances, special use permits, and other entitlements.
Matthew also represents buyers and sellers in negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, closing real estate transactions, and navigating Section 1031 exchanges. He represents clients in commercial real estate litigation as well.
Earlier in his career, Matthew was a land surveyor for WSP USA, one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms.
