Jenna McGee regularly represents public and private entities on their real estate and construction needs. In addition to her transactional practice, Jenna has served as trial counsel for companies in federal and state court proceedings, defended a wide variety of companies in regulatory actions, and conducted a number of internal investigations on behalf of clients. She is the former leader of Parker Poe's practice focused on construction and real estate disputes.
She also advises corporations and boards of directors on matters of corporate governance and compliance, works with companies to identify areas of risk, and coordinates with other Parker Poe attorneys to create comprehensive, enterprise-wide compliance plans and provide compliance-related advice.
Jenna is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Fourth Circuits, as well as the United States District Courts for South Carolina and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Jenna practiced with an international law firm in New York in the areas of securities litigation and regulatory enforcement and investigations. She also served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge William H. Pauley III in the Southern District of New York.
While attending Duke University School of Law, Jenna was senior editor for Law & Contemporary Problems, an interdisciplinary law journal.
