Producing documents in litigation or investigations can be a herculean, expensive task. Parker Poe has significant experience streamlining that process for clients, increasing efficiency, reducing headaches, and saving costs along the way. Our eDiscovery services are designed from the perspective of in-house counsel: our team is led by Heather Munday, who spent a decade building the in-house discovery legal capability for a Fortune 500 company.
We can manage the entire process for clients from start to finish. We bring our firm’s deep litigation and investigation experience to bear in helping clients to understand their IT environment and identify the relevant data. We partner with their internal teams or bring in outside resources to extract it. We negotiate with opposing parties on technical aspects of electronically stored information (ESI) protocols. We handle the hosting and analysis of that data in collaboration with leading vendors. We then produce the necessary data and documents on behalf of clients.
Across the board, we provide strategic advice on best practices. We also apply cost control measures and project management techniques to streamline the process. We are proactive in helping our clients plan and monitor budgets. We view ourselves as an extension of the in-house team.
